Corsica is the largest French island in the Mediterranean. It was here that Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Ajacio in 1769. Corsica is very diverse, you will find high mountains (the highest peak 2760 meters above sea level) where you can ski, beautiful sandy beaches, dense forests but also deserts, old towns and modern campsites. The seemingly small (200 km long) island is entwined on each side with a network of extremely winding and beautifully situated roads. For this reason, it is a popular destination for motorcyclists from all over Europe.
