CANARY ISLANDS with LOVE FOR RIDE - general information
Gran Canaria and Tenerife are among the best motorcycling destinations in the world, especially during the European winter. These are the largest of the Canary Islands, and also the most mountainous and boasting the most winding roads. Interestingly, the asphalt on these islands is laced with volcanic ash (small, sharp pebbles), making it very grippy.
On this trip, we'll show you both islands from a motorcycle perspective – three days of riding in Tenerife and three days of riding in Gran Canaria. Plus, we'll explore beautiful beaches, stunning forests, and the almost desert-like landscapes of the southern regions of the islands.

Ascent to Teide
Motorcycle pick-up - trip to the highest peak in Spain - Teide volcano (3718 m above sea level)

Puerto de la Cruz
Roads along the coast and the green north of the island.

🏍️ Tuesday - 3rd day of riding
Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Gran Canaria
North of Tenerife + entrance to Teide National Park (from the other side) + Santa Cruz de Tenerife (the island's capital)
That day we take the evening ferry from Tenerife to Gran Canaria

🏍️ Wednesday - 4th day of riding
Pico de Las Nieves + Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
A route from Agaete to the most mountainous region of Gran Canaria, then back through the mountains to the capital of the island.

🏍️ Thursday - 5th day of riding
Maspalomas
We will drive from Las Palmas to the mountains and then go down to the south of Gran Canaria.
Accommodation: Gran Canaria

Agaete - Santa Cruz de Tenerife
We'll take mountainous roads near the island's eastern coast to reach the port from which we'll sail back to Tenerife. From Santa Cruz, we'll head further south to be closer to the airport.
That evening we return the motorcycles.
